MANAGER ALERTS - please read!!!
_______________________________________________________________________
WHEN BOWRAL PLAYS BOWRAL or when there is a colour clash it is the HOME team which changes in to an away strip. So for example, if Bowral D play Bowral A in the under 7’s it will be the Bowral D team who change in to the red shirts.
It is also the HOME teams responsibility to fill in the team sheet
And if there is no Ref allocated the HOME team should also supply a Referee.
CHILD PROTECTION
By Law it is also necessary that anyone involved in the Coaching or Managing of a team and interacting with the kids must have signed a Child Protection form.
You can get a copy on this link: Prohibited Employment Declaration PDF
You can also find the Child Protection form link by clicking here
SHIRTS – Club policy is that playing shirts are only worn on Saturdays at games and must be returned to the bag for someone (usually the team Captain on the day) to take home and wash. Please do not give out shirts to kids to take home and wear for training and playing – that is how they get lost!
UNIFORM – is largely light blue shorts, shirts & blue socks- will issue new shorts & shirts but you need to buy socks. The Referees and HSA won’t be too strict on uniform for the first couple of weeks.
MATCH BOOKS - If you have an official referee, he/she will take the white sheet, if no official referee, the home team puts the white sheet in their canteen. In all instances, the home team puts the yellow sheet in their canteen and gives the blue sheet to the away team. The green sheet stays in the book.
Note - the home team is the first team listed on the draw, even if they are not playing at home, they still have the same responsibility as above
All teams are still required to write down the names of all players participating in a match (insurance purposes).
REFEREES – there will be no guarantee of having a referee each week so if there is a willing Dad or older kid in your team support crew may I encourage you to utilise their services and encourage them wherever possible.
VISITING TEAMS – Some visiting younger age groups may show up with a bare minimum of players or not enough. If this is the case I would like you to do whatever you can to ensure that a game takes place and even up the teams if necessary. Let’s do our best to promote a good, friendly Club image.
