AAM 1st Grade - Bowral 3 : Goulburn Staggs 2

Bowral were shocked in to action against a dangerous Goulburn Staggs team that went 2-0 up after 20 minutes against the run of play.   After some urgent changes to the team formation, things settled down and Bowral were able to assert their authority on the game.
John Bova had an outstanding run, scoring 2 goals towards the end of the first half to level proceedings.   When Staggs were reduced to 10 men mid way through the second half, it was only a matter of time before the pressure told and Bowral got their goal through Paul Riley in the 75th minute.   The commitment from the guys was great again. Confidence is running high going into their next match vs Goulburn Spirit next Saturday at Stephens Park.

AAM 2nd Grade - Bowral 1 : Hill Top 6

It was a familiar story for Bowral and about sums up their first three games - looking good with the ball, but early goals where the opposition took advantage of any chances given put Bowral on the back foot and despite creating some good chances a scoreline of 4-0 down at half time.  The objective was to win the second half and for most of the second half Bowral were the better side, pulling a goal back through Matt Austin, before a couple of goals late on for Hill Top blew the score out to 6-1.  Bowral showed considerable potential - results will surely come!

AAM 3rd Grade - Bowral 3 : Exeter 1

The 3rd team pulled off another win on Saturday beating Exeter 3-1.  Goals from Jeff
Cusack (1) and Martin Blencowe (2) in the first half secured the 3rd successive win.
Exeter secured a consolation goal in the second half, the only goal conceded by the 3rds this season.   Another excellent game by Peter Jensen in goal and our defence is probably one of the strongest in the division.   It was great to have our coach back on Saturday shouting cockney rhyme from the sideline!   He was particularly impressed with the work rate and consistency of Steve Giddings in midfield.   Well done 3rds
