25August How to be the best coach... ever!

Youth football coaching is as complex as you you want to make it.

At its most basic (and most fun?), all you need to do is arrange for a group of children to meet up and throw them a ball to play with.

24March What if it is raining?

Always assume football is on.

If it has been raining heavily, then first thing to do is check council web site - Sporting Fields Status.

http://www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/services/sporting-fields

If council closes the ground then games or training will be cancelled.

09March Coaching & Training Update

Coaching and Training for Season 2014 – a message to all Coaches and Parents

The season kick off will be upon us soon. Registrations have again be strong across the junior age groups and we will have by far the largest number of teams across the Association. As always we have a combination of coaches returning for another season with a contingent of new mentors, diving in and having a go for the first time.

The first thing to do is to thank all those who will be committing time and effort this season. You will be assisting all of the children to learn to play soccer and importantly, learning to love the game.
